New Home Build Frankston- Project Update 1

Every successful home begins with careful planning and solid foundations.

We’re excited to share the progress of one of our latest custom home builds in Frankston. Over the coming months we’ll be documenting each stage of construction, giving homeowners an inside look at how a quality home comes together from the ground up.

This first update focuses on everything that happens before the walls go up. While much of this work isn’t visible once the home is complete, it’s some of the most important work in the entire project.

Planning Before Construction

Before construction begins, considerable planning takes place behind the scenes. Working closely with the homeowner, designers, engineers and surveyors ensures the project is ready for a smooth construction process.

This stage typically includes: Final working drawing, Engineering documentation, Building permits, Site survey, Soil testing, Site preparations, Service connections

Investing the time to get these details right helps avoid delays and ensures the build meets Victorian building requirements.

Laying the Foundations

Once the site was prepared, work began on the slab and foundations.  A strong foundation is essential for the long-term durability of any home. The slab is carefully formed and reinforced before concrete is poured, creating the structural base that supports the entire building. With the slab completed, construction moved into the framing stage.

The Frame Takes Shape

The timber frame is now standing, giving the first real look at the home’s size and layout. At this stage, rooms begin to take shape and homeowners can finally visualise how their new home will look. Every frame is built to Australian Standards and carefully checked throughout construction to ensure quality workmanship.

Follow the Journey
